The Screams Return to Carson City This October!
Join us for Carson Creepy 2025, part of the Carson City Shorts series by Silver State Storytellers, and experience a weekend of terrifyingly creative short films made right here in Northern Nevada.
Prepare yourself for a chilling showcase of local talent — each screening block will feature 14 original short horror films, all written, shot, and edited in just two weeks by competing filmmaking teams. Expect ghosts, ghouls, creepy kids, cursed objects, and plenty of slashers and murderers sprinkled throughout to keep you screaming all weekend long!

Ethereal Encounters: Paranormal Film Block

The monsters come out at night! Expect blood, claws, and chaos as the festival closes with a ferocious lineup of creature-fueled nightmares.
