Silver State Storytellers is thrilled to be a part of Carson City’s Annual Mark Twain Days, celebrating Nevada’s rich heritage of storytelling. As part of this tradition, we are offering a series of workshops throughout the weekend dedicated to shaping Nevada’s storytellers. Join us for a weekend of learning and creativity as we honor the art of storytelling in the Silver State.
There are many ways to tell a story and poetry as a vehicle can be intimidating. However, poetry, as a form, can evoke emotions in fiction in a way that is unmatched. Welcome to Poetry in Fiction workshop designed with the intention of helping participants elevate personal narrative style in fiction with an eye toward the stylish. With this workshop, we aim to break down the elements of narrative, dramatic and lyrical poetry styles to elevate any storytelling fashion.
Join us during Carson City’s Mark Twain Days for a hands-on workshop experience to strengthen your storytelling toolbox.
